Wings This Week is a weekly look at the most talked about events & athletes in the World of Red Bull. The focus this week is Lindsey Vonn who rounded off her FIS World Cup campaign in style by breaking the record points total by a female skier.

Skiing sensation, Lindsey Vonn, is arguably the most successful American skier in the history of Alpine skiing, recently breaking the record points and collecting her fourth overall and consecutive title at the FIS World Cup. Making her World Cup and Olympic debut at the age of 16 and 17 respectively, Lindsey Vonn has never since dissapointed, bagging titles in all disciplines of Alpine skiing and being honored with numerous Sports awards.

Lindsey ended her remarkable 2011/2012 season by winning 12 races and 4 crystal trophies for World Cup victories in the Downhill, Super-G and Super Combined departments. With her last victory, Vonn has now won a whopping 53 World Cups and has amassed 305 World Cup starts, collecting 97 podiums. The season marked the second time she has won four titles, the first coming in 2010 and scored a women's record of 1,980 points, a whisker away from eclipsing the all-time record of 2,000.

With Olympic medals, World Championship medals and World Cup titles to her credit, Lindsey Vonn has definitely become one of the biggest role models in the skiing world!
