Wings This Week is a weekly look at the most talked about events & athletes in the World of Red Bull. The focus this week are the 3 pilots who will be representing India at the World Final of Red Bull Paper Wings at Hangar 7 in Salzburg, Austria.
Red Bull Paper Wings gave us some great aerial action and a lot of sore shoulders with hundreds of pilots participating across multiple cities in India to be India's top pilots. In the end, 3 pilots earned their wings and a chance to represent India at the World Final of Paper Wings at Hangar 7 in Salzburg, Austria. They fly to Austria on the 3rd of May and will be going up against the best of the best from all over the world to artistically transform an A4 sized paper into a plane that would fly higher, longer and dance to their tunes! Check out the best shots from the Red Bull Paper Wings India FInals.
The 3 pilots who are off to Austria are Simant Suman, Anuj Jain and Lauv Jaiswal to represent India in the Longest Distance, Longest Airtime and Aerobatics categories respectively at the World Final. Gentlemen, buckle up and get ready to take off!
"The Goal Is To Fly, Not To Land."
Update: Our boys from India put on a good show with Anuj Jain finishing in 34th place with a airtime of 6.82 seconds and Lauv Jaiswal placing 23rd in the aerobatics category with a score of 29/50
