This Summer is looking like it’s going to be the most hectic Summer of my professional life to date. Every weekend there’s planes, trains, car missions, late nights, big crowds and a huge amount of JOKES!
I thought it might be a good idea to document some of the fun so behold! Here is episode one, weekend one, a mission up North, to Inverness for Rockness Festival and then Manchester for the Parklife Festival. This weekend in particular, shall always be remembered for one thing. The cannonball...
i.e. the horrible human bungee contraption that you get at festivals that shoots you hundreds of feet into the air so you can see for miles - that's if you don’t have your eyes squeezed shut praying to get down alive.
It was all Ms Dynamite's fault. We did it together. We also tried to sabotage Magnetic Man's DJ set by crawling under their DJ booth and trying to see what was under their kilts (yes they all wore full highland regalia for the Rockness festival).
I did two main stage DJ sets myself, both in the pouring rain. I got the whole Manchester crowd to shout 'Fuck The Rain' which was very liberating for all of us and most importantly I got it all (and loads more) on film for episode one of 'The Adventures Of Annie Mac'. So watch and enjoy!
