About this Image: When Aksel was eight years old, he lost his mother through complications at the birth of his second brother. In November 2007, he crashed badly in Beaver Creek, Colorado, getting away with broken bones in his face and a 15 cm laceration to his groin. Both of these traumatic events seem to have made him only stronger.
