- Thomas Morgenstern finished second in the season's first individual ski-jumping event in Kuusamo, Finland, at the weekend. The Austrian scored 328.3 points with jumps of 142 and 145.5 metres, finishing just short of compatriot Andreas Kofler's jumps of 145.5 and 143.5 metres respectively.
